I'm tring to get additional information (or code! 8^) on Van Jacobson's TCP/IP Compression/Prediction software .. I've been pointed to ucbarpa, but couldn't find anything there .... Any info would be appreciated. Thanks .. -Jeff -- Jeff A. Wabik E/Mail: jwabik@msc.umn.edu Minnesota Supercomputer Center AT&T: +1 612 626 0211 Minneapolis, MN FAX: +1 612 624 6550

Van said that he has submitted the tcp compression as an rfc. A few people are reviewing it now. Provided the reviewer don't find any major problems with Van's rfc they will issue a rfc number and the code will go up on ucbarpa. This might happen around the begining of July. Cheers, Mark A.
