Is anyone out there intimate with the details of trailers? We have an implementation here that will not accept trailers, so we thought we would hack away at it a little to see if we could add the ability to at least accept them. After consulting RFC 893, we have a question: Does the length in the trailer refer to the length of the original header only, or does it also include the 4 octets of the trailer "header"? Any references or samples of code that decode trailers would be appreciated. I have looked in the BSD source, but was unable to find the code in question. Probably due to terminal c-sickness :-).
