We have a couple of Prime machines that want to join the campus IP network. They run PRIMOS. Prime tells us we need LHC-300 Ethernet controllers, TCP/IP software, and a mail user agent such as PDN Mail from Prime Custom Systems. I'd like to hear from anyone using or knowledgable about this hardware and software. How well does it work? What alternatives exist? What facilities are provided? telnet client? server? ftp client? server? smtp client? server? ping client? ping server? unix r commands? news support? snmp support? routed?
