Folks, I have a nonordinary requirement. What I need to be able to do is use a slip link to connect and route between two networks. A picture of what I need is shown below: | World | +------[Cisco] | | | | Our net | --+-----------+---- | | 9600 baud [Something]-----/ /------->[Something] | -------+---------- Their net I've looked at KA9Q on two PCs, but it appears that you have to do proxy ARP by host. I've heard that Northwestern has router code for PCs, but the last announcement that I read indicated that slip would be ready 'real soon now'. I realize that we could use a 'real' router, but the people that want to connect want to minimize cost. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. /mde/
