*cc: Bob Stratton Hello All! Is there anyone out there from U. Wisconsin or Wiscnet who can point me toward information on the 3798-FAL TCP/IP implementation for VM/CMS? (That product number may not be right) Any information (availability, cost, accurate product name, etc.) would be greatly appreciated. The product is 5798-FAL, marketed by IBM (a LOT of work has been done on it since it left Wisconsin). Your friendly local IBM sales person should be able to give you more info on costs (they vary depending upon what discounts you qualify for, under some options it is almost free :-). I personally feel it is an excelent product, supported by a very talented staff in IBM research. There is also a discussion list devoted to this package and related issues (network attachment devices, etc). It is: IBMTCP-L@CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU You can subscribe to the list by sending mail to: LISTSERV@CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU containing the single line body of: SUB IBMTCP-L your name here -njg

Yesterday Jay Elinsky (IBM Yorktown) rang me up after a user here had mentioned to him that I was chasing what appears to be an ip reassembly bug in either AIX 2.2.1 or in the VM ip implementation... Jay is not the contact for the initial query, but for technical queries which are sent to this list, I think that he's a good person to ask. Eric Brunner uunet!ibmsupt!brunner
