I tried to use tn3270 on a CONVEX C220 to access an
IBM system with running VM CMS and IBM's TCP/IP product.
The Convex tn3270 connected to the IBM system and flashed the
VM logon screen at me. However it immediately displayed the
error message
LOGON ERR from mvaddch at 1899 (23,59) 59)
and nd left me back at the UNIXConvex system prompt. I.e. quit tn3270
program.
I then tried to connect to a second IBM VM system at a nother
site and got the same result.
The Convex site is GIBBS.acs.unc.edu, and the IBM sites I tried
are UNCVM1.ace.s.unc.edu and CORNELLF.tn.cornell.edu
No one here has any ideas on who is issuing this message.
Can anoyone on the net provide an answer?
