Final-year physics/computing (Jt. major) honors student seeking employment in software, preferably in connexion with communications. Preferred location: New Jersey, Delaware or other NE USA. Available to start: July 1986 Experience: 3 years of Unix(R) running on DEC hardware. Also two years of EMAS (Edinburgh Multi-Access System) running on ICL hardware. Languages: Primarily Fortran77, but also a working knowledge of 'C', COBOL, SNOBOL4, Pascal & APL. Major Projects: Generation of simulation data for European Space Agency's "Giotto" probe, allowing the analysis S & H-ware to be tested and debugged before actual encounter. Adaptation of JPL ephemeris software to permit installation on United Kingdom's STARLINK network.
