Hmph.  Even more bogus is that it in fact seems to actually _be_ part of
Oxford, and not of us.  What threw me was the subdomain in the UUCP map.
Normally, you sort of expect subdomains to be either geographical or
departmental, but not by something like machine type.  Oxford's

oxcnvx  .convex.oxford.ac.uk

line sounded like we were hiding our UK office under .oxford.ac.uk (as far as
I can tell, our real UK office is the UUCP site "eurodem").  I wonder how many
"strange, but true" instances of subdomaining are out there.
