SOFTWARE OPENINGS - INTEL CORPORATION - ARIZONA SYSTEM SUPPORT ENGINEERS Duties: Assist customers in the use of Intel system and software products, NDS-II systems with iNDX, respond to telephone inquiries, assist in problem resolution. Requirements: Programming skills to design and write programs in a microprocessor assembly language and either Pascal or PL/M. FORTRAN and C skills are desirable. Familiari- zation with compilers, debugging tools and techniques, and execution of programs in an operating system run-time environment. Must have detailed knowledge of the CAD tools, cell libraries and MDS. Will have responsibility for the review of designs pre start and post simulation, layout, verifica- tion (logical and physical), graphics support, tapeout and test program generation in support of a customer. Will provide pre design commit feasibility support and provide any post sample design consultation. Will also assist in early customer/field training and publish application notes. Will interact heavily with the field. Requirements: Working 1.0 and system design experience including microprocessors. Should be knowledgeable about the supporting CAD tools used commonly in the execution of the above tasks. Exposure to technical marketing is desired.
