[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] Printing in a Heterogenous Environment

hughes@silver.bacs.indiana.edu (larry hughes) (09/19/89)

I recently posted an article that summarized comments from
people on TCP/IP-based printing solutions in a heterogenous
environment.

In that summary, I mentioned a Postscript document that
describes Palladium, Project Athena's sophisticated
network printing system.

My mailer has had some problems replying to some of the
people who requested how to access the Postscript
documents (actally, there's 2). Interested parties
may anonymously ftp the following files from
cica.cica.indiana.edu (129.79.22.22):

  /pub/athena.ps (11 pages)
  /pub/athena.design.ps (120 pages)

These are offered with compliments to MIT and the authors
of the papers.
