[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] TCP/IP in Mixed BSD-Sys V Environment

tkevans@fallst.UUCP (Tim Evans) (09/26/89)

I'm looking for information about TCP/IP implementations that might
run in a mixed network of VAXen running BSD 4.2, '386 Intels running
SCO Xenix (some version 2.2, some versio 2.3), and '286 AT's running
VentureCom Venix (version 2.2). (All prior trade names are copyright
by the respective owners.) The latter is likely to be the big problem,
as this version of Venix has no large-model compiler option and does
shortnames only.

We are currently networked via Ethernet and running an XNS product.
We'd like to join the rest of the world.

Please e-mail, using the path shown below. Thank you.
