We need some Ethernet bridges and I have been looking at what's available. I have some information on the Netronix Ethermaster 13000 bridge and it sounds very good - inexpensive and high performance (25,000 pps filtering). Has anybody had any experience with this box yet? One of requirements is a security requirement - we have to be able to prohibit passing of packets based on source and/or destination address, with separate sets of rules for each direction through the box. Apparently third-party software is available for this box to perform this function. Has anyone had experience with this software? How reliable is Netronix equipment in general? Who services it?
