The Title:
Special Projects Engineer
The Job:
The Special Projects group does short term contract work
with various outside companies. Each contract takes about
six months, and as I don't like to be bored, the projects
are never boring. Our first two projects have been the
System V Validation Suite (with AT&T), and the UNIX(TM)/Kanji
Japanese language interface. Our next project is:
Design and implementation of an automated system to validate
a state of the art distributed file system (both homogenous,
and heterogeneous).
The Qualifiactions:
A degree in CS/EECS, and 1 to 2 years of UNIX experience.
Experience with V.3 RFS, Sun NFS, and LANs in general would
be a plus. Complete knowledge of C is required.
The Company:
UniSoft Corporation is a four year old company based in Berkeley
California. Our primary job is the porting of the UNIX System V
and V.2 kernel to 680x0 computers. We have done swapping, and
demand paged version of V.2. We also support a our own Berkeley
TCP/IP networking, an NFS implementation and SNA. We pay competitive
