[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] New draft of ISO IS-IS Routeing Spec

mogul@DECWRL.DEC.COM (Jeffrey Mogul) (10/26/89)

Dave Oran, the Project Editor of what is formally known as
"ISO 8473", and is better known as the ISO IS-IS Routeing
specification, has asked me to make available via public FTP
a PostScript file containing a new draft of the spec.

To retrieve this file, FTP to gatekeeper.dec.com, login as
user "anonymous", giving your username as a password. There
are two versions of the file

	pub/ISO/isis.psf	Plain-ASCII PostScript	1144 Kbytes
	pub/ISO/isis.psf.Z	"Compressed" format 368 Kbytes

If you can handle the compressed form of the file, please use
it, since it's about 1/3 as big. This will save you time and
save us network bandwidth. Remember that compressed files must
be retrieved in binary mode.

Please do not ask me to mail you this file, or for any format
besides PostScript, or for help in printing the PostScript, or
any questions about the content.

This document is a preliminary draft of a proposal for an ISO
standard. It is provided for your information only, and does not
necessarily represent the position of ISO or of Digital.
