[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] X.WINDOWS for PC's

01696@AECLCR.BITNET (Chris Tanner) (11/13/89)

We have just obtained X.Windows for our CDC NOS/VE system, and are now looking
for ways to use it. While we expect to have workstations in the near future
(SUN or Silicon Graphics), we are looking for implementations for the PC.

Does anybody now of X.WINDOWS "clients" for either the PC or MAC.

Thanks in advance for help.

DEC has done a version of DECwindows for the PC. Since DECwindows
is really X with DEC's toolkit, I think you can count it. I don't
know if it's any good or not...
