[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] Need info on commercial SNMP based products

ron@iconsys.UUCP (Ron Holt) (11/19/89)

I would appreciate it if anyone could send me information on commercially
available (or at least announced) products that use SNMP in one way or
another.

Thanks

Robert,
Proteon has a Network Mangement System called OverVIEW, which
uses SNMP and PING to monitor the network. Proteon Routers support
SNMP, therefore you can monitor all Routers from a centralized
location.

In the interests of trying to avoid having about 30 vendors send product
announcements to this list, may I suggest that you redirect your question to
the SNMP list:

	snmp@nisc.nyser.net

If you wish to join this list, send a note to

Thanks,
