Apple Computer is looking to hire two additional Software Engineers in the
Apple Network System Development Group. The two job descriptions are:

1. Description: Assist in ongoing development of the AppleTalk network.
                Employee will become familar with the AppleTalk protocol
                architecture and the AppleTalk driver code on the Macintosh
                familiy. Will also assist in various AppleTalk related
                projects such as porting the Macintosh code to new machines,
                helping third parties on AppleTalk projects, and implementing
                new protocol modules on the Macintosh.

   Experience:  2-4 years in low-level systems programming. Networking and 68000
                assembly language experience definite pluses. AppleTalk and
                Macintosh OS experience helpful.



2. Description: Design user interfaces and develop prototypes, test programs,
                and create tools for AppleTalk network servers.
 
   Experience:  2-3 years in network protocols. Should be equally adept at
                Pascal and 68000 assembly language programming. Knowledge of
                Macintosh Toolbox and AppleTalk a definite plus.
