[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] Test Site for VAXBI X.25 device under ULTRIX

mason@salt.acc.com (Bill Mason) (01/05/90)

ACC is looking for a test site for the ACP 7250 (BI X.25 device) on a
VAXBI machine that is running ULTRIX. We would like testing to begin
around the end of January 1990.

The ACP 7250 is ACC's new X.25 front-end for VAXBI machines. It uses a
single VAXBI slot, and has the X.25 protocol resident in on-board firmware.
The ULTRIX device driver links into the networking kernel for support of
the TCP/IP stack over an X.25 network.

For anyone familiar with ACC's products, the ACP 7250 functions in the same
manner as the ACP 5250 (Q-bus) and ACP 6250 (UNIBUS) X.25 controllers that
have been available for several years. The ACP 7250 can be thought of as the
BI version of these products.

Any interested parties should contact Bill Mason at (805) 963-9431, or

Thanks for your interest!
