                      SUMMER JOBS AVAILABLE IN THE
                      ----------------------------
                       TILED WINDOW SYSTEM PROJECT
                       ---------------------------

At Siemens Research Lab in Princeton NJ, we are building a tiled
(non-overlapping) window system. Descriptions of our work can be
found in the article "Constraint-Based Tiled Windows" in the 1985
IEEE Conference on Computer Workstations. A longer version is
available as a CMU Computer Science Department technical report.

We have a number of summer jobs available in this project in
        system implementation and algorithm design.

We are primarily interested in computer science graduate students,
although exceptional undergraduates are invited to apply as well.
Fluency in C is necessary. Background experience in either
algorithms or window systems would be helpful.
