Hi, we want to push a lovely application on top of telnet(1c) (maybe ISO-OSI layer 8 ;-). Therefore we grab telnet's stdin and stdout with pipe(2), fork(2), dup(2) and exec(2). This works fine on Unicos, IRIX, DomainOS 10.1 and HP-UX 6.5. But it does not work with Interactive's 386/ix-telnet 1.1.2. If I try to run telnet under sdb, then telnet prompts in an endless loop. Is this a known bug? Can I avoid it with a workaround? Is there source code available so that we can fix it? (I guess it smells like a nonblocking read(2) problem). Thank you for your help.
