I am helping put together a mis plan that implements the machines in the title. The sun will be running Sybase applications that the PCs and macs need to get to. The sun is to act as a server of a sort. They are talking about having a novell net also and the users need to be able to go between tcp and novell easily. Actually, everything isn't in stone yet. Something is needed to alow the pcs, macs and sun to be linked. Tops comes to mind but the sun stuff isn't quite right yet. Does anyone out there have any suggestions? The system has to be user friendly. Printers need to be hung somehow so everyone can print. Does anyone know of a print server that can be hooked to the network(not novell, just ethernet) or any other thoughts? Thanks in advance. If you could mail to my mailbox, it would be easier.
