[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] Is there a spec for "uucp-path 117/tcp" ?

Several of our machines list the service "uucp-path" on tcp port 117.
Does anyone have a reference describing what this service does?

Hi.

See RFC-915.

How could one figure that out? See RFC-1060 "Assigned Numbers", look on
page 10, see that port 117 is associated with reference 44, look on page
68 to see that reference 44 is RFC-915.

In article <12@aupair.cs.athabascau.ca>, I asked:

Thanks to the several people who directed me to:

  RFC915  Elvy, M.A.; Nedved, R.  Network mail path service.  1984 December;
