[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] SENDMAIL saying message being deferred!

luis@ses15.uucp (Luis Albisu) (08/09/90)

I have been experimenting with sendmail for the first time and am running
into a small problem that I'm sure someone can answer right off the top of
their head. I've networked a SUN workstation and a 3B2/600 using TCP/IP.
The SUN is running SUN TCP/IP and the 3B2 is running Wollongong TCP/IP
Rel 3.0.

Whenever I send a messages from the SUN to the 3B it never arrives. When
I issue the command: sendmail -bp -v, it says that the mail is deferred.
Mail from the 3B2 to the SUN goes through without any problem.

I've looked in the documentation and find no reference to deferring mail
under sendmail or sendmail.cf.

I would appreciated it if someone could point out what's causing this.

Thanks in advance!
