[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] station name

Hi, here is my question:

Is there a way to get the name of the station I actually logged in from,
( this can be an X terminal or another workstation) so that I could direct
Xwindows output to this screen in some automatic way ?

Any information will be appriciated.
