Go to your bookshop and buy the IBM PC special issue of BYTE. Detach the booklet from Quarterdeck and read it. Full X support in the DESQview multitasking environment for MSDOS. Seems amazing. Just as striking to me is that it looks like (I have to check) Quarterdeck have managed to multiplex the FTP Software socket driver between several concurrent DOS applications. More like TCP/IP wouldn't it? This strengthens my opinion that PD software for DOS should detect and use this socket API when present.
