[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] looking for SLIP for System V Release 3

tr@samadams.princeton.edu (Tom Reingold) (11/08/90)

I am interested in learning who sells versions of SLIP for System V
Release 3. I have 3B2's and 386's. Does each brand of SLIP depend on
a particular brand of TCP/IP?

Any information on any brands would be appreciated.

The AT&T/Wollongong tcp-ip that's available for SysV R4 (you need to rev your
3bs and 386s) includes SLIP (along with an snmp agent, ip over x.25 and
other goodies).

I also understand that the AT&T/Wollongong tcp-ip for SysV R3 (win/386 R3.0)
has a slip module, AT&T just dosn't include it. You might try Wollongong
directly.
