Hi networkers, Our group is planning to evaluate FDDI sometime in Q1/91. I would like to gather some information before we actually start the test. If you have implemented one, would you tell me what drive you to implement FDDI, is it just for positioning for the future or you have some specific problem that require FDDI to solve? What kind of tests you have done before you put FDDI into your production network? What vendor did you pick and why? What are the pros and cons of the bridging and routing soultions ? Any pointers/advises to papers, user/news groups, RFCs and reports are appreciated.
