The January issue of ConneXions--The Interoperability Report is now available. This is a special issue on Inter-domain routing, and is a companion to our August 1989 issue on Intra-domain routing. The articles are all written by routing experts from the IETF, and include an overview of Policy routing, The Border Gateway Protocol, Issues in Inter-domain routing, and Inter-domain routing in the Internet. Also included is a summary of RFC 1174 (you know, the one about "Sponsoring Agency" and "connected/ not connected" which seems to have since been reversed, oh well...) and a review of Comer's second edition of "Internetworking with TCP/IP".
