If there's another more appropriate place for this please let me know, but: Has anyone tried updating a MAC layer bridge's spanning tree code to the current rev (p802.1d/D9 July 14,1989). Apparently this rev and the previous rev are not compatible. We are currently running the previous rev on our product and I'm trying to plan for the upgrade, but I'm not sure what the scope of the effort will be at this point.
