howdy - A brief look at RFCs 1010 and 959 leads me to believe that all these seemingly hung connections to port 20 on my machine are probably ftp connections that failed somewhere during the initial (or closing ?) hand-shaking. I'm guessing this probably indicates some network connectivity problem between ``here and there'' and is really nothing for me, as system janitor of this machine, to worry about... or is there? tcp 0 250 130.127.8.1.20 XXX.XX.X.XXX.47585 CLOSING tcp 0 214 130.127.8.1.20 XXX.XX.X.XXX.47586 CLOSING tcp 0 250 130.127.8.1.20 XXX.XX.X.XXX.47587 CLOSING tcp 0 214 130.127.8.1.20 XXX.XX.X.XXX.47341 CLOSING tcp 0 25 130.127.8.1.20 XXX.XX.X.XXX.47342 CLOSING tcp 0 250 130.127.8.1.20 XXX.XX.X.XXX.47343 CLOSING tcp 0 427 130.127.8.1.20 XXX.XX.X.XXX.43574 CLOSING tcp 0 373 130.127.8.1.20 XXX.XX.X.XXX.43575 CLOSING tcp 0 427 130.127.8.1.20 XXX.XX.X.XXX.43576 CLOSING -Mike
