Maybe this has been discussed before or maybe its too obvious, but if I construe things correctly, every PPP packet has a "protocol" field which identifies the packet (IP, CSLIP, DECnet, etc.). Unless a number of protocol connections are established concurrently over one link, isn't that an antithesis of what CSLIP is all about (redundant information after the initial setup) ??
