Indeed.  For networks of any size, broadcast based protection schemes are
a disaster.  Either, the network is segregated and the copy protection
packets don't reach the other nodes or the network is flat and every copy
protection packets reaches every other node perhaps melting down the entire
network.  In neither case does the vendor's efforts produce the result
originally intended.
