Does anyone know where I can get a PD version of a PC netwatch or tcpdump program available for home use? If so, please respond to me via email, if possible. Send email to me if you also want to know what I find out. Thank you, Chris Shaker shaker@cisco.com

To the best of my recollection, netwatch _IS_ PD, or at least free. Check RFC 1147 for instructions on how to get it (I'd tell you, but my copy of RFC 1147 is at the office, and I'm not). Netwatch is *not* public domain. It's under a copyright that allows you to do anything you want with it provided that you credit MIT with its original creation. - john romkey Epilogue Technology USENET/UUCP/Internet: romkey@asylum.sf.ca.us FAX: 415 594-1141
