[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] Is there a protocol for remote printing ?

Does a standard protocol exist for remote printing on tcp/ip ? I have
been looking in RFC's and in different litterature for a specification,
but haven't found one. 
     
I am also interested in specifications for the protocol used by the BSD
lpd daemon, and if such a protocol exists for SYSV also the protocol
used by the lpsched.

Please email any pointers or protocol specifications, I will post a
summary if there are interest.
