[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] POP2/3, IMAP2/3

steve@edm.isac.CA (Steve Hole) (03/06/91)

This is almost certainly an FAQ, but I have yet to see a collection of
definitive answers posted to either of these groups. What I would like
is information on the following items:

 * POP2/3 server for UNIX, clients for UNIX and DOS.
 * IMAP2/3 server for UNIX, clients for UNIX and DOS.

I don't really care too much about the flavor of UNIX or of the DOS
TCP/IP libraries that it is implemented for, as I can probably muddle
through that if I have too. Summary information on the software and a
list of ftp sites would be appreciated for each. I will be happy to
post a summary back to the group for those who wish it.
