After reading section 3.2.5 of RFC 1157 I would appreciate clarification on the following: MIB view - the document states that the MIB view is "For any network element a subset of objects in the MIB that pertain to that element". Does "pertain" imply all those MIB groups that the network element is required to provide as per RFC 1156? Email replies would be preferred to reduce bandwidth on such a specific question.
