"Who'd want to do any work while the card reader was moving, anyway?"
We had a demo program at school for our GE-415 that used the card reader
to select out the blank cards from the stack of used cards. The card
reader had two output stackers and we had a program that would read
a card, determine if it was blank or not as it passed the read station,
and route it to one stacker if the card was blank and to the
alternate stacker if it wasn't.
