I am curious as to what tn3270 is. Does it take 3270 data streams as I/O and convert this to display on a users terminal. If it performs a similiar function to this can somebody tell me an ftp site for the source. I am looking at running this on a UNIX SVR3 system, with BSD hooks. Thanks. -- Brad Keifer, BHP Information Technology, Newcastle Region, Australia internet: brad@bhpese.oz.au Phone: +61 49 402126

There have been a lot of questions along this line, lately. Just to clarify things... Several TCP/IP implementations use the name "tn3270" for telnet with a tn327x emulator. (Some such programs are probably available with source - I'm not a good source for that information.) These programs will differ, however, as various ftp's differ. People who want help with, or information on, a telnet will get faster and more accurate answers if they can specify what implementaion they are asking about. These lists have an expert or two for just about everything! Frances Kirk Selkirk info@ftp.com (617) 246-0900 FTP Software, Inc. 26 Princess Street, Wakefield, MA 01880
