[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] Query on SCO's MultiScreen-like PD software

HARISH@ITIVAX.BITNET (03/20/91)

Though my question is not directly related to TCP/IP, I'm sure some of the
readers of this newsgroup know of the existence of a piece of PD software very
similar to SCO Unix's Multiscreen. I'm told that it is called Screen and was
written by someone in Europe. I'd like to find out where I can get hold of it.
I could not find it at simtel20. E-mail your replies please and as usual, if
there is sufficient interest, I'll post a summary.

On a TCP/IP issue, I recall someone asking a while back about which interface
to program for - sockets or TLI. I'd like to know what the general consensus
was. I believe it was to go with sockets.

Thanks and regards.
