[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] tn3270 under SCO Unix

mcitron@phad.hsc.usc.edu (Mark Citron) (04/07/91)

I post this several months ago and got no reponses but it is so important
for us I figured it is worth another try.

Does anyone have a 3270 emulator that runs under SCO Unix (we already have
tcp/ip)? We have a critical need and would even consider paying for
a port to SCO Unix. We need to communicate with a remote IBM mainframe
via ethernet-tcp/ip (no other protocols or media). Any help or suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried Cleo 3270?
They can be reached at 800-233-2536 (some areas)

Ask for Teresa Rupert.
I have used Cleo 3270 in the past and have found it to be a pretty good
product. Teresea stated to me that they do have a way to utilize
a tcp/ip/ethernet connection.
