I am going to be demonstrating the virtues of TCP to a skeptical SNA crowd in the near future, and I'm wondering if some kind soul out there would be willing to give me temporary access to a guest account on a VM/CMS host that is Internet-connected at a speed of at least 56kbps. I'm going to be using dialup IP for the demo, perhaps using the Telebit multiplexing IP router, so my throughput in some scenarios will exceed 9600 bps and I want to make sure that there are no bottlenecks that will prevent me from showing off that throughput while connected to a remote 3270 host. If someone is willing to give me access to a barebones PROFS account for a week or so, please send me some mail. Also, if anyone has suggestions for things to show off during the demo, I'm all ears. I'm hoping (praying) that FTP Software's Windows product will handle multiple IP connections via PPP so that I can be doing multiple Telnet sessions, an FTP session, and mail all at the same time. I want to see some eyes bulging during this demo :) Thanks, Will Estes Internet: Will@cup.portal.com UUCP: apple!cup.portal.com!Will
