I am trying to get multiple GATEDs to run on a single host to simulate multiple routers on a single host. My initial problem is getting multiple IP addresses on a single ethernet (qe0) port. I've tried ifconfiging 2 times with different addresses and the host locks up. Does anybody know if a single ethernet port can have two addresses in the same family? If so, how or if not, at what point is the capability prohibited? In addition, has anyone tried running multiple GATEDs and is able to provide some helpful insight.
