Hello Wang TCP/IP Users: Some folks here have a Wang 85 with the TCP/IP software package. They would like to be connected to the network, but don't want to spend the $10K+ to put an Ethernet adapter onto the VS85. Instead, they would like to use an outboard device to ROUTE (bridge?) IP packets between an Ethernet and a 'Wang 928 link'. They would like to use a PC as a router/bridge by placing a 'WLOC card' into the PC along with an Ethernet card, and running some sort of ROUTING/BRIDGING software on the PC. Is this possible? Will the Wang TCP/IP package successfully function over the '928 Link/WLOC' connection? And if so, what type of software is available for a PC to acomplish the IP packet conveyance (Ethernet to '928/WLOC')? Are there other alternatives? Thanks in advance, Robert M.
