The 1982 Jacob Bronowski Memorial Lecture will be Freeman Dyson of the Institute for Advanced Study (at Princeton) on the topic: Population Biology and the Origin of Life Wed, 20 Oct 1982, 2000 EDT in Wetmore Hall, New College (Huron St. and Classic Ave.). Free. Personal comments: Dyson is a first-class genius with a very high reputation in several fields. I haven't seen anything of his on this particular topic, and have not heard him speak before, but I would highly recommend taking this one in.
