Is there a reasonably complete list of the ethernet address blocks assigned to vendors? I have a list that is somewhat out of date and only has about half of the ethernet addresses observable on our internal network. If there is no such archive, then perhaps some kind soul can identify the following ethernet blocks for me: 00:00:81 00:80:d3 01:00:81 08:00:01 09:00:2b 09:00:65 09:00:77 09:00:07 09:00:09 ab:00:00 ab:00:04 -- Brian Utterback, Millipore Corporation, 75G Wiggins Ave., Bedford Ma. 01730 Work:617-275-9200x8245, Home:603-891-2536 INTERNET:: blu@millipore.millipore.com UUCP:: {samsung,cg-atla,merk,wang,bu-tyng}!millipore!blu

I got a couple of them (sort of): ab-00-00 Some DEC multicast not in their old documentation ab-00-04 DECnet routing layer end nodes In general, the 01 and 09 ones are multicast (low bit of first byte is on) and the 00 and 08 are unicast. Bob
