on "PCHIP: Piecewise Cubic Hermite Interpolation
               Package".

               ABSTRACT

PCHIP is a Fortran package for piecewise cubic inter-
polation of data. All interpolants are represented
in Hermite form. The package features software that
produces a monotone and "visually pleasing" interpo-
lant to monotone data, and makes it easy to compare
such interpolants with cubic spline interpolants to
the same data. This talk will discuss the capabili-
ties, structure, implementation and availability of
the package. Graphical examples will be included.
