Netters, I'm working in a project that involves the use of the SNMP protocols between Sparcstations and VME cards. For that purpose I acquire the Sun Network Manager tool(SNMgr) that provides for the use of SNMP agents. I would like to know if you have any good/bad experience with this tool or with any other one used for the same purpose. I would also want to know if someone in the net have implemented any agent for VME cards or any other piece of hardware, using SNMP, that can be helpful. I know that the group comp.protocols.snmp was recently created but I can't get to it. So how I can be added to the SNMP mailing-list? Please reply by e-mail.
