Re: Upcoming TARTLUG Meeting
From: Ian Darwin

Welcome to 1983! It's time for the first TARTLUG Meeting of
1983! Carry over some of that ole' Christmas Spirit of giving:
bring a program for the needy. Seriously, bring that little util-
ity or other program you've been staying up late with. They'll
all be put on tape, and anyone who contributes a program will get
a copy of the tape. Bring your program and a blank tape. Please
no commercial or copyright software!

Speaker: to be announced.

On the agenda: Appointment of a new Head Dictator for next year.
My employer has been very generous in allowing me the use of
resources in support of the group, but now it's time for a
change. I feel I have worn out my welcome, and my employer
feels that some other organization(s) should support the
group. Sombody with reasonable communications and organiza-
tional skills willing to devote a few hours a month, please
come forward! If there's more than one volunteer we will
have rule-by-triumvirate next year, otherwise we'll have
another dictatorship. If you can't make the meeting but are
interested in the position, please call me at 978-6134.

As well, we will have our usual question-and-answer period.
Bring your RT-11 problems and stump our panel of experts
(i.e., the experienced RT-11 users in the crowd).

Also, please bring suggestions for ideas on topics to use in
future meetings! I hope to see many of you at the meeting.

Yours Sincerely,

Ian F. Darwin
TARTLUG head dictator (pro tem)
