Here at Widener we were planning on splitting up our network and using filters a various points. We want to assign entirely separate Class "C" networks to various internal segments that will not be accessible from the outside world (except through a router/filter/bridge) and will not require access to the outside world. Should I just make up numbers and wing it or should I register two new Class "C" networks and be totally official in case one of my routers/filters/bridges dies or works incorrectly. Doing things this way makes it easier since our original network is also Class "C" and is getting crowded. Don't flame me about Class "C" since it wasn't my decision. Thanks for any advice or suggestions. -- Joshua R. Poulson [Joshua.R.Poulson@cyber.Widener.EDU] "I speak only for myself, okay?"
