[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] SL/IP under MAC-TCP

mt@cleo.cs.wisc.edu (Manolis Tsangaris) (06/12/91)

Netters,

Do you know if MAC-TCP can support SL/IP? The version that comes
with MacX 1.2, has only Ethernet support, whereas the manual pages
show a dialog of the ``Connection Tool'' that can use ethertalk, localtalk
or serial line.

Thanks

No. Currently it does not. Once the next version comes out there are several
companies who are working on SLIP and PPP for MacTCP, so keep your eyes open.
